We had the joy of photographing the Rhayader Players’ lively pantomime production of Jack and the Beanstalk — a colourful community performance that brought big laughs, bigger costumes, and even bigger beans to the stage.

Set in the heart of Mid Wales, this grassroots production proved that small towns grow tall tales. From backstage excitement to stage-front drama, we captured the characters, chaos, and charm of a truly homegrown show.

We documented the show across rehearsal and live performance — focusing on movement, emotion, and those perfectly pantomime moments (think: villains booed, heroes cheered, cows milked dramatically). Every image helped celebrate the cast, crew, and Rhayader’s creative spirit.
