A day of joy, connection, and recognition.
Held at the Royal Welsh Showground in Llanelwedd, the Young Carers Festival is a one-of-a-kind event designed to celebrate and support young carers from across Wales. We were honoured to be part of this important project over the last few years — helping to capture the energy, emotion, and impact of the day.
Our role:
Event Photography
We documented the full spectrum of the festival experience — from adrenaline-filled activities and creative workshops to quiet moments of reflection and friendship. Our approach was sensitive and people-first, focusing on genuine connection and candid joy.
Visual Storytelling
We worked to ensure the photography told a story: of fun, resilience, and the power of community. These images were used across festival communications and press, helping raise awareness of the vital role young carers play and the value of events like this.
This wasn’t just another event — it was a chance for young people, so often in a position of responsibility, to just be themselves.
