A Familiar Story, A Fresh Chapter

Every story has chapters. Some rush forward like adventurers setting out on a quest — full of energy, new companions, and paths to explore. Others are softer, like a traveller resting by the fire, gathering strength and reflecting before the journey continues.

At Mogwai Media, we’ve been living through both kinds of tales. Buzzing days filled with projects and photoshoots — our adventures in far-off places, with new challenges and victories. And quieter evenings spent editing by the fire (its been cold a few days already), dreaming of what the next quest will be.

Now, as autumn paints the world in golden tones, we’re turning the page to a new chapter: the launch of our refreshed website — Our very own online storybook , built to house our work, our journey with our clients so far, and the stories we’re yet to tell.

Tales Already Told

Like many storytellers and designers, we’ve been so busy telling other people’s tales that our own digital home was left waiting, like a book unopened on the table (possibly with a coffee cup ring on it .. it had been a while).

Over recent months, we’ve helped brave new brands and businesses ride into the spotlight: Little Flock, Round the Lakes, Ryca Electricals, Dressed to Impress, and The Mid Wales Sparky have all claimed their place on the internet.

Waiting at the castle gates, ready to enter, are Cambrian Mountains Glamping and Camping, Rhayader Running Club, and Serenity Yoga — stories already written, simply waiting for the “Live” button to be pressed, waiting for their moment.

Adventures Beyond the Screen

But our story doesn’t live only in code and design. Beyond websites, our cameras have carried us on quests both near and far.

We’ve captured the sun setting over holiday lets, watching stone cottages glow as if lit from within. We travelled north to Scotland, where the Spartan Race unfolded like an epic saga — warriors battling mud, sweat, and fire. We’ve stood quietly in churches and fields, documenting love stories worthy of every fairy tale. And we’ve laughed in open fields as a bride we once photographed tried every antic imaginable to coax a horse into pricking its ears for the perfect shot (trust us — it was even funnier than it sounds).

Every photoshoot, every project, every smile frozen in time adds another page to the Mogwai Media storybook.

Autumn’s Magic Spell

Autumn has always felt like a chapter written in gold. The fire crackles in the corner as we edit, Harry Potter and Practical Magic hum like background incantations, and outside the world shifts its colours.

Through the window, the leaves whisper — a gentle sussurus, like the rustle of enchanted pages calling us outside with our cameras. The September sun dips low, the moon paints silver paths across the water, and twinkling lights appear on houses, tractors, and winding streets. Each moment is an invitation to capture the magic before it drifts away.

And with it, our website has transformed — cleaner, stronger, and more true to who we are.
