If you’ve ever wondered what happens when you mix stardust, Welsh landscapes, and a man who knows the Milky Way in the sky better than the one you can pick up in your corner shop… well, we at Mogwai Media now have the answer.

Last month, we successfully launched the shiny new Serydda website — the digital command centre for all things Wales’ night sky, stargazing, astrophotography, and astro-tourism magic.

Welcome to www.serydda.co.uk

Working with the Astro-Man

Meet Dafydd Wyn Morgan — Serydda’s founder, resident star-whisperer, and one of Wales’ most enthusiastic night-sky aficionados.

If you could bottle his passion and sell it at the Elan Valley Visitor Centre, you’d probably fund Wales’ entire astro-tourism budget for the next decade.

Based in Tregaron, Dafydd has been roaming Welsh hills after sunset for years — chasing meteors like they’re Pokémon and turning ordinary folk into stargazing believers, one constellation at a time.

His mission — and yes, he chose to accept it — is simple: to help people look up.

Like, really look up.

Not a “I saw a plane!” kind of look.A “Galactic Real Estate” kind of look.

🪐 Working with Astro-Man (Again, Because It Deserves Its Own Section)

Dafydd brings the kind of enthusiasm you simply can’t fake. The sort that makes you believe clouds will part out of sheer respect.

One minute you’re discussing navigation menus and mobile layouts. The next, you’re learning about nebulae, lunar cycles, and why Wales’ dark skies are genuinely world-class.

It was less client meeting and more friendly guide leading you into the cosmos with a flask and a headtorch.

Exactly how we like it.

What Serydda Actually Does

Serydda isn’t just about pretty pictures of stars (though there are very pretty pictures).

The website showcases a whole universe of experiences, including:

  • 60-Minute Starbathing Sessions — guided cosmic chill time under the Milky Way

  • Night Photography Workshops — learn to make the stars look like your Instagram suddenly knows what it’s doing

  • Astro-Tourism Partnerships — turning accommodation providers and local tourism businesses into dark-sky superstars

  • Creative Light Painting & More — for when the clouds are grumpy but your camera isn’t

Think of the site as a gateway to the cosmos for Earthlings — with Dafydd as your friendly, knowledgeable, slightly-obsessed cosmic tour guide.

Building a Home for the Stars

Behind the scenes, we focused on creating a digital space that mirrors the experience Serydda offers in real life.

That meant:

  • A gentle, spacious design inspired by open skies and dark horizons

  • Clear, simple booking pathways (no black holes here)

  • Copy that feels like a calm voice beside you saying, “Just wait… the stars are about to come out.”

The result is www.serydda.co.uk — a digital basecamp for starbathing sessions, astrophotography workshops, and quietly magical nights across Wales.

Ready to Explore?

If you’re curious about the stars, the night sky, or what happens when someone combines real passion with genuinely dark skies — Serydda’s website is your starting point.

And if you happen to see Dafydd out there, chatting to Orion or Huw Gadarn like an old mate?

Don’t worry.

It’s entirely expected.
